Format:
This course is a blend of live training sessions and self-learning activities. Delivered by MHFA England Instructors, this course has been designed to teach delegates the practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues and gain confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress.
Live training sessions: the complete programme is delivered over 4 separate live sessions, which all delegates are required to attend to receive their certificate:
Please make sure you can attend all 4 live workshops prior to booking onto this course.
Self-directed learning: activities will be provided to delegates, which can be completed at an individual’s own pace prior to each online live session.
Course requirements: You will need internet access, and PC/laptop with video & audio connection. We will contact you before the event to give you support in joining the virtual classroom.
All course materials are sent to delegates via Royal Mail so please book your place at least 10 days before the training date so we can guarantee you receive your materials in time. On completion you will be a certified Mental Health First Aider.

Terms and conditions:
Booking Confirmation: Upon receipt of your booking, confirmation will be issued via email.
Discount for multiple bookings: this applies to multiple bookings made for a single workshop and invoiced together.
How to Pay: If applicable, an invoice will be raised one week before the workshop and sent to the email address given. Payment can be made by credit card, cheque or BACS.
Events Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel your workshop booking please see the cancellation policy below for guidelines
4 weeks or more prior to event: No charge
2-4 weeks prior to event: 50% of fee
0-2 weeks prior to event: 75% of fee
No show on the day 100% of fee.
Transfer Conditions: Bookings can be transferred to colleagues up to 1 day before the workshop. This is to be advised by email giving the contact details of the new delegate. Please note that if you do not cancel and do not attend, no refund or transfer will be made.
Cancellation by us: Whilst we endeavour to deliver the workshops and events as detailed, we reserve the right to modify or cancel any event. If we do cancel an event we shall inform you via email as soon as possible, offering alternative events where available or offering a full refund where this is not possible.
